I've been having problems getting the site to accept comments.
Most of the sketches on the site are from sketchbooks, so they remain on the living room shelves. The New York work was done quite large and I've sold those on. I've had the sketchbooks in a couple of exhibitions, but they mostly serve as an online portfolio - moderately successful, though I did get a commission to illustrate 25 pubs in Belfast and Galway out of it.
Love your work by the way.Roger O'Reillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15886618097731741114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8053034244697723693.post-39913924046203898792009-03-26T05:14:00.000-07:002009-03-26T05:14:00.000-07:00I agree with your stand on roughs vs. finished, Ro...I agree with your stand on roughs vs. finished, Roger. It's as if I don't care that much what the roughs look like & care too much about the finished & the roughs invariably come off better.
Beautiful sketches on your site BTW. Do you sell much of it?Mark Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898299574797827415noreply@blogger.com
